Strengthening the Retention Amount and Leaching Resistance of Boron Compounds Used as Impregnation Material

This study is carried out in order to increase the retention performance of synthetic boron compounds. For this purpose, test samples prepared from Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris Lipsky), European oak (Quercus petraea Liebl.) and Oriental Beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) woods impregnated with dipping method accordance principles TS 6193 EN 84 by using 12 different composisiton Developed Impregnation Liquid (DIL). The materials are tested according principles. It has been found that amount leaching resistance DIL approximately 2 times higher than ones which more environmentally friendly other toxic impregnation harmful for human health such as CCA beside its preservation feature against biotic abiotic factors through compounds content. Moreoever wood can be recycled comparatively easily a healthy way at end economical lifetime.
